We just moved to a third-floor apartment in Nice and receive a constant stream of furniture deliveries. Although the elevator is small, everything was going smoothly until the HUGE 1960-era buffet showed up and the delivery guys insisted it was too big to be carried up the stairwell; we needed a service called "monte meuble" that we knew nothing about. Google connected us to J&D, and 24 hours later J&D brought us a team and a lift. In 20 minutes the buffet was gone from our building's foyer and had been hoisted up to our apartment: end of crisis. J&D were responsive and professional from start to finish and treated our 65-year-old piece gently and with care. I would recommend them for any kind of move, no matter the complications.
